Food Story

A native of rural Nebraska, Blaser has always had an active hand in his diet; whether as a child helping tend to his grandparents’ vegetable garden, hunting and fishing trips with his father as a teen, or the small herb garden in his kitchen today. These events and the meals they helped create instilled in him the importance of food as a component of family and community. He hopes to incorporate the expertise he is developing as a PhD student in Biostatistics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center during his tenure at the Center.
