Food Story

Grace grew up eating a familiar selection of foods, sticking to what she knew. But as she got older, her curiosity led her to explore new ingredients and recipes. Her MPH practicum experience deepened this appreciation, as she studied how food access shapes health outcomes and evaluated programs striving to improve the food environment. Through research and experience, food became more than sustenance—it became a gateway to understanding community and health.
