Food Story

Hollowell started college as a fashion merchandising major, but after completing a research project on how nutrition affects our body processes, her interests and major quickly changed to dietetics. This, paired with her experience in mission trips to Honduras and South Dakota since middle school, led Hollowell to a career in community nutrition, specifically with the WIC program. She truly believes in programs like WIC that focus on getting the nutrients needed for families to grow and thrive at crucial time periods in the life cycle.
