Food Story

From Slocum’s teen years, she became increasingly aware of the importance of the food she was putting into her body. To deepen her understanding and better care for her family, she earned a certificate in nutrition, which eventually led her to pursue a career in the field for a time. Cooking for her family has since become both a beloved hobby and a way she expresses love—her personal love language. As Slocum began intentionally choosing healthier foods, she also started to recognize how processed foods had affected her body in the past.
