Food Story

A common question in Balis’ household growing up (and now) is, “What’s your workout plan for today?” Balis is thankful for this strong foundation in regular physical activity as she has transitioned from collegiate swimmer to competitive triathlete to mountain explorer (and pickleball enthusiast). And, of course, food has fueled these journeys – from stuffing her bike jersey pockets full of cookies to honing the perfect backpacking breakfast.
