47th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions for the Society of Behavioral Medicine • April 22–25, 2026, Chicago, IL  

 
Attendees: Chief Executive Officer Dr. Amy Yaroch and Senior Research Scientist Dr. Courtney Parks  

Overview:  
Dr. Yaroch and Dr. Parks attended the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) Annual Meeting, which convened researchers and practitioners to advance the integration of behavioral science into health policy, care delivery, and public health practice. Dr. Parks presented a poster titled, “Mapping Food Security Efforts in the Omaha Metro: A Landscape Analysis to Advance Behavioral Medicine Innovation,” and delivered a presentation highlighting CNHI’s contributions to advancing nutrition incentive programs.  

Dr. Yaroch participated in several conference engagements, including the “Meet the Fellows” networking event, a breakfast roundtable titled, “Charting Your Course: Exploring Careers Outside of Traditional Academia,” and served as a panelist for the symposium, “Utilizing Innovative Technology-Enhancements for Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating Food is Medicine Interventions.”
