Overview:
Dr. Yaroch participated in the AHA Food Systems Forum Spring Meeting through her role on the Lifestyle Nutrition Committee, which convened cross-sector leaders to examine how nutrition can be more effectively prioritized in food innovation. Using legumes in product development as a case study, the meeting explored key levers, tradeoffs, and decision-making criteria influencing food system change.

Discussions focused on identifying next steps to advance nutrition in food innovation, including the development of decision frameworks, pilot initiatives, and collaborative strategies. Participation reflects CNHI’s continued engagement in cross-sector leadership to advance nutrition and public health outcomes.
