Overview: Dr. Eliza Short attended the FIMCON Food is Medicine Conference, which convened researchers, funders, healthcare organizations, community-based organizations, and program participants working across the Food is Medicine landscape. The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen connections with Food is Medicine practitioners, researchers, community leaders, and funders while learning from speakers representing a wide range of perspectives across the field.

During the event, CNHI connected with longstanding partners, including Food is Medicine Coalition and the American Heart Association, and met with collaborators from Community Servings, a current project partner, to support ongoing work evaluating their Community-Centered Food Sourcing strategy.
